The folding RAD is an automated door especially suited to production plants, warehouses, stacking, holding and shipment areas wherever it is necessary to protect, separate or insulate. the folding RAD door represents a suitable solution for all types of openings including very large ones and can also be used in diverse and harsh operating conditions
Self Supporting Metal Structure Made of galvanised steel. Contains the electrical drive gear, accessories and the mechanical counterbalancing system. Metal structure can be powder coated to standard colours as an option.
The Door Blade Is made of strong fabric. The contact points of the blade are reinforced to eliminate wear and tear. The door blade is reinforced by horizontal steel tubes and extends deep into the guides to help seal the door to act as an effective barrier against heat, cold, dust and noise. The door blade is available in a wide range of colours and can be constructed with 1,2,3 or 4 rows of windows, as necessary in order to increase transparency and visibility.
High Wind Resistance The standard door blade construction will resist wind speeds of up to 90km/h. Optional extra reinforcing can achieve up to 120km/h.
Intelligent and Innovative Electronic System Good operation of an automatic door is mostly dependant on reliable control of the drive mechanism and the electronic safety devices. In the Folding RAD door this function is carried out by an electronic unit which is equipped with adjustable timers and operation logics. The door opens smoothly and can be activated by different types of remote control equipment.
Safety Features The electronic unit controls and operates the safety device such as the photo cells on the bottom safety edge both of which stop the door and return it to the open position if activated during the closing cycle. RAD doors deliver added safety to personnel and reduce the risk of damage to products, plant and vehicles. A device for the fast opening of the door in an emergency, in the event of power failure, can be activated by a special release lever which can be fitted to both sides of the door (optional).
